Anxiety

Anxiety can be experienced in both mind and body and is a condition that can be a response to a particular stimulus, or have no immediately recognisable trigger. The sufferer experiences that uncomfortable feeling that something unpleasant may be about to happen. The physiological and emotional symptoms are very similar to those experienced when under stress, the mind and body preparing to face a perceived threat.

Extreme anxiety can lead to panic attacks, a debilitating and potentially frightening condition. Coping strategies can be learned, and discussing any possible underlying causes can help creat long term solutions.
